How TO Earn CASH By RECYCLING YOUR Kid’s STUFF
We will pay you cash for items that your kids have outgrown. Each item must meet our quality standards. Please follow these guidelines closely to get the most money for your things.
Our Quality Standards
1.Clothes need to be current styles (new within the last 3 years) and in like-new condition.
2. Clothes need to be wrinkle-free and able to go straight to the racks.
3.Clothes need to be freshly laundered (within last 3 weeks) and free of odors.
4.Clothes must have no tears, holes, snags, pilling, stains or obvious wear
5.Toys must be clean, working and with batteries installed if applicable
6.Toys must have all pieces included.
7.Baby equipment and furniture must be clean and safe and new with the last 4 years
8.Check the safety of your toys and equipment at www.cpsc.gov. We will not purchased products that have been recalled.
9.All clothing items should be brought in plastic storage bins or laundry baskets or something that keeps them neatly folded or laying flat (Large items excluded). No trash bags, please. We can accept up to 2 laundry baskets full of clothes at once. If you have more than that you can drop off more as soon as you pick up payment for the first drop.
To protect your children and reduce the risk of injuries to our customers, due to the recent recall of millions of cribs for safety issues, we will no longer be buying used cribs. You can check for recalls on your crib and other products at www.cpsc.gov
When and Where?
After you’ve sorted through your items and selected the things that meet our quality standards you can drop them off with us. Our Buying/Drop-Off hours are Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM and Saturdays 10AM-Noon. We will have you fill out a short form and you’re on your way.
Within the next few hours our buyer(s) will then assess the resell value of your items. We will call you within 1-4 hours and when you come back before 7pm we’ll have any “no-thank-you’s” prepared to return to you and an offer for your accepted items. Items that we did not purchase that are not picked up by 7pm on the same day will become property of Cutie Patootie Kids and will be processed, donated or disposed of.
Payment terms
We’ll pay cash for purchases less than $20 and checks for amounts over $20. We also offer store credit as a payment option. If you select to receive a store credit you will receive 20% more than a cash purchase.
